Reynolds and Reynolds’ summer interns experience months of activities that help them grow as professionals while exploring a career field. Internships are available in most departments, and our sales department offers an elite internship program.

Our summer sales interns travel to various locations around the United States while shadowing account managers in their daily jobs. Some of the things they experience include: meeting real dealership employees, training, professional development lunches, and fun activities with other interns.

The summer interns have great stories to tell by the time fall rolls around. One of our recent participants was given the opportunity to tell her story on The Ohio State University’s blog!

Audrey traveled to New Orleans, San Antonio, and Pittsburgh during her time with Reynolds. She talks about what she learned, who she met, and what she was able to do as part of the internship program. In the blog series, she also includes some advice when it comes to being an intern:

• Take the initiative to see the world, even if that means interning somewhere that isn’t your hometown.
• Ask questions. Does your future internship have paid housing?
• If you travel, download all the apps and stack up points!
• Explore the city you are in. I’ve found a lot to do in Dayton. My favorite place is The Oregon District.
