Sometimes there are products that need to be seen to be believed and understood. To help car dealerships better understand how Reynolds products can help them run their businesses more efficiently and profitably, we host on-the-road events to let dealers experience our products first hand. These events allow people to personally interact with our solutions, while learning more about the people behind those solutions and our company.

In the same way we want customers to understand what we do, we want to demonstrate to students some of the amazing products they could be working on at our company during internships or after graduation. That desire drove us to bring our products to the University of Dayton (UD) for the first University Open House.

In February, UD students joined Reynolds employees in the Kennedy Union ballroom to network, learn about Reynolds, and snack on Flyers cookies.

Over twenty Reynolds employees attended the University Open House, representing various areas of the company such as sales, marketing, sales training, and recruiting. Students had the opportunity to meet with associates, managers, directors, and even company vice presidents, to discuss the various opportunities at Reynolds and how the students’ talents could fit in the company.

We had a variety of our products on display, from our dealership marketing solutions to our dealership business management software. Many students also took time to check out AddOnAuto, a tool that allows car buyers to pick out accessories for their new car and see the results before they purchase. Others looked at docuPAD® (pictured below), our table-sized touch screen used by dealerships to help accurately and efficiently fill out paperwork and present protective products for their customers’ new purchases.

Another big hit at the event involved a few giveaways, including two $250 Visa gift cards. One winner was Stacy, a UD senior studying Marketing (pictured below).

We were thrilled by the amount of interest UD students displayed while we were there. We had a line of students interested in checking out the event, and at the end of the day, nearly 200 people joined us at the Open House. Thanks to everyone who came out, and we hope you had a great time learning about Reynolds and the careers we offer!
