In the spirit of Valentine’s Day, we asked employees to tell us what they love about working at Reynolds and Reynolds.

Here’s what they had to say:

Rachel, Professional:

I love the culture. I like that I’m challenged everyday when I come into work and I like that I have the freedom to make my own content. I also learn a lot from the people around me, and it’s nice to know I’m surrounded by smart, talented colleagues. I also really enjoy spending time with my coworkers. I think we all push each other to be better people and professionals every day.

Madeline, Specialist:

I really love the people. Reynolds does a great job finding the right person for the right role. I also love that we promote internally because it means there’s lots of room for growth and your supervisors have been where you are now. In terms of extra-curricular activities, we have a charity event called the Habitat for Humanity Build. A bunch of Reynolds employees volunteer to build the foundation for two houses that will go to local families. Two years ago we had a dedication for the families here so we were able to meet and talk to them. It was a really special experience. We also do something called Casual for a Cause. Every Friday we can wear jeans if we bring in two dollars to donate to the charity of the month. The fact that we have such a big presence in Dayton – and the fact that we don’t use that selfishly – is pretty cool.

Greg, Senior Manager:

Do you want one thing or all of the things? I love that I get to work with talented, smart people. I love that it’s a company that will take care of you and support you. I love that it’s a company that provides autonomy and the ability to try new things.

Connor, Professional:

I’m sure everyone is saying this, but I love the people here – especially how accepting and helpful they were right off the bat. When I started, there was a supervisor on a different team that had just gotten promoted. She had been overseeing a program that I was now going to be responsible for. I know she must’ve been incredibly busy with her new responsibilities, but she took time whenever I had a question or a problem to help me and make sure that not only did I get the task done, but that I understood it well enough to do it on my own in the future.

Amanda, Professional:

I love working in an industry that I’m passionate about. I’ve always been a car person. I’ve always really loved being in the shop, working on trucks and learning about cars. Having a career with a company that’s such a big name in the automotive industry, I love that I’m still close to that world and can bring that passion to my professional life.

Michelle, Supervisor:

I love that you get to work with a lot of really smart, creative people that are driven and excited to come to work. Everyone gets to be the master of their own area, and that means you get to work with people that really know their stuff. You never feel like you have to do it all on your own. Being able to collaborate and brainstorm with people, and being able to learn something new all the time is important to me. It keeps it interesting and challenging. I also love our industry. It’s always changing; it touches the rest of the world in more ways than you realize, and it’s one of the most important industries in the world. It’s just exciting! Every day there’s something new going on.
