Keeping It Fresh
This post comes from Matt G., a Reynolds associate and farmerās market connoisseur.
Looking for something to do in Dayton on the weekends, but itās too early to visit the local craft brewery since you are trying out the whole āadultingā thing? Look no further than your local farmerās market.
These days, farmerās markets are popping up in virtually every community, making them hard to miss. Some are even open year-round.
Visiting a farmerās market allows you to see your community in action and support small businesses by buying local. Itās also a great way to save money and buy fresh produce, baked goods, homemade recipes (think salsas or jams), and desserts. Youāll also likely be able to buy arts and crafts, flowers, or even treats for your pet! If you get lucky, you may be able to catch some delicious cuisine from a food truck hanging around as well.
The next time you are looking for something to do, check out your local farmerās market, often in large parking lots or parks. Youāll find new friends and a sense of community as you experience the outdoors and support local vendors. Who knows what inspiration youāll discover!
