Clint: In 1999, I dropped my resume on a table at a job fair and started in our office in College Station, Texas, shortly after. That said, however, I quickly realized this was the company for me.
What skills or experiences from your military service have been most valuable in your role?
Melanie: My military experience strengthened my ability to adapt to changing situations and honed my attention to detail. Leading enlisted service members has prepared me to thrive in my current supervisory role.

Clint: Don’t ignore or downplay your success. The problems you solved and the teams you led highlight what you are made of, capable of, and willing to do. We can teach you the rest.
How has your role at Reynolds helped you grow personally and professionally since leaving the military?

Ja’von: I’ve learned to embrace new challenges with the support of my leadership, even if I am not comfortable doing so. I’ve also noticed a huge improvement in my communication skills.
Clint: Building and continuing my career in a structured company that seeks to run efficiently, invests in the development and growth of its associates, and rewards hard work has not only helped me personally as an individual, but has also helped me as a leader. The military values growth from within, and that ethos is alive here at Reynolds.

Melanie: I appreciate that Reynolds takes the time to recognize and honor service members. It’s nice to feel like our service is appreciated!
Ja’von: Reynolds views veterans as an asset and appreciates the sacrifice of those who have served.
Clint: I am a proponent of supporting our veterans and giving them opportunities. Many sacrifice personal plans and education to give three or four years of their lives to their country. That service instills traits and skills we value, even if they haven’t completed formal education.
