Here at Reynolds, we believe in actively supporting the communities that we live and work in around the country. Our associates have diverse interests and passions, and we support them as they choose to give back. Reynolds promotes a “work hard, play hard” mentality that doesn’t stop outside the walls of the office.

We encourage associates to participate in activities that improve the communities around them, starting with the Reynolds and Reynolds Company Foundation, which focuses on giving to higher education programs in the areas where we primarily operate. Founded in 1986, the Company Foundation hopes to prepare quality students for key roles in our regional communities.

Though the Company Foundation focuses on higher education initiatives, the Dayton office’s Associate Foundation extends financial support to a wider range of causes, including health and human services, at-risk youth, literacy, and veteran organizations. The associate-run board of trustees meets four times each year to review grant requests, disburse funds, and organize associate-led volunteer activities.

In addition to helping our communities, Reynolds’ volunteer opportunities benefit our associates, too. Our offices organize their own Fun Runs to support local charities and non-profit organizations. Associates and their families are invited to get some fresh air and exercise, play fun yard games, and come together over food and drinks after work.

Reynolds makes supporting charities at work even easier by promoting Casual for a Cause at the Dayton, College Station, and Houston facilities (Jeans for a Means in Canada) each Friday, which allows associates to wear jeans for a small monetary contribution to associate-nominated organizations within our communities.

For associates and their families involved in charities outside of the walls of Reynolds, we offer the Dollars for Doers program, which makes financial contributions to organizations where associates donate their time. Created in 1996, the program serves as a way for Reynolds to connect to the nonprofit organizations that are valued by associates.

And while Reynolds supports several charities and participates in many outreach opportunities already, associates often take part in community events with teams formed among their Reynolds peers. These programs are associate-driven as they work to advocate for the causes they hold close to their hearts. Backed by Reynolds, our Texas associates form teams to participate in the Bike MS 150, a multi-day bike ride that benefits the National Multiple Sclerosis Society. Our Dayton associates build homes for local families through the Reynolds partnership with Habitat for Humanity, with over 100 volunteers constructing the frames of two single-family homes in the Reynolds parking lot.

Not only do we care about people, but we also care about our planet, so our offices are equipped to reduce power consumption. The Celina, Ohio plant is equipped with new printing technology that ensures product consistency, leading to a lowered waste output across the facility.

Our compassionate associates truly hope to make the world a better place, and the company is proud to support their initiatives all over the country. For details on any of Reynolds’ charitable efforts, visit the Outreach page on reyrey.com.
