On Saturday, April 23, over 250 associates and their guests gathered at our College Station office to participate in the 22^nd Annual Fun Run. The Fun Run, available to College Station and Houston associates and their family and friends, included a variety of activities, such as yard games, food and beverages, and exercise options such as a 5K, 10K, mile walk, and Tot Trot for kids. And though it was warm outside, it was the best turnout for the event in its 22 years.

What’s more is that this event is put on completely with the help of associate volunteers. This year’s commissioners, Manager Amanda Dittert and Supervisor Alex De La Rosa from the Technical Support Center, worked with a team of volunteers to ensure the event went off without a hitch.

Businesses from around the area even got involved, supplying donations for raffles, door prizes, swag bags, and sustenance for the runners during their races. Businesses included Kroger, the Houston Astro’s, Aggieland Safari, the Houston Zoo, and so many more! These generous contributions amounted to nearly half a ton’s worth in food donations, and over $1500 in cash donations, which were given to the Brazos Valley Food Bank.
