Reynolds’ Associate Foundation: Giving Back Over the Holidays

It’s that joyous time of year – families are frantically preparing for feasts, shopping for presents, and pulling out dusty decorating bins. And yet, amidst the joy of the holidays, it’s also easy to fall victim to the season’s commercial nature. The true spirit of the season comes from giving back, giving thanks, and lending a hand to those in need.

At Reynolds and Reynolds, we have the unique opportunity to give back to our communities throughout the year, with an emphasis on the holiday season. Created in 1956, the Reynolds Associate Foundation serves as a way for associates to support nonprofit organizations through events and campaigns put on by associates for associates.

The Foundation’s Board is made up of eight Reynolds associates who rely on the feedback of their fellow associates to determine where their funding goes. Events this year have included the Annual Associate Cup Hockey Game benefitting Kettering Parks Foundation, the sixth annual Habitat for Humanity build held in the parking lot of our Dayton office, and several donation drives, with the most recent benefitting Toys for Tots.

These events represent the essence of giving back and supporting others – providing opportunities for our associates to connect with the community and one another, and ensuring our teams know they are surrounded by like-minded individuals striving to do good in and for the community.
