“Fall” for Dayton!
Today is the first day of fall, and September and October are packed with events to celebrate! The cities surrounding Reynolds and Reynolds’ headquarters in Dayton have everything planned from Haunted Trails to Oktoberfest. Here are just a few of Dayton’s fall festivities:

Oktoberfest
September 23 and 24
Join The Dayton Art Institute in welcoming Oktoberfest! This is the largest fundraiser event for the museum and includes artisans, international foods, and an extensive selection of craft beers, art, activities, and more!
Lebanon Country Applefest
September 30
About a half an hour south of Reynolds, the Warren Country Fairgrounds will be hosting Applefest. The festival will feature crafts, food, and entertainment. A short drive over to the LM&M Railroad offers a one hour train ride through Warren County, where you can learn about the history of the area.
Full Moon Haunted Hike
October 6
Listen to legends and stories of the unexplained while walking the Inman Trail under a full moon. This event is located at the Glen Helen Nature Preserve.
Ohio Cider Fest
October 7 and 8
Hidden Valley Fruit Farm will be hosting the Ohio Cider Fest. Included are activities for people of all ages! There will be apple cider, caramel apples, hayrides, a corn maze, and craft and food vendors.
Ghostly History Tours
Begins October 18
Take a one hour Ghostly History Tour through downtown Waynesville and the Quaker Hill area to learn about historical legends. You will hear about the area’s unique past from first and second hand accounts, and then finish the night with a self-guided tour of the Museum at the Friends Home.
Miami Valley Haunts
October 30
Nancy Horlacher, a local historian, invites you to Miami Valley Haunts to take a look at where unexplained occurrences have happened in the Miami Valley.
