Keeping It Fresh
This post comes from Matt G., a Reynolds associate and farmerâs market connoisseur.
Looking for something to do in Dayton on the weekends, but itâs too early to visit the local craft brewery since you are trying out the whole âadultingâ thing? Look no further than your local farmerâs market.
These days, farmerâs markets are popping up in virtually every community, making them hard to miss. Some are even open year-round.
Visiting a farmerâs market allows you to see your community in action and support small businesses by buying local. Itâs also a great way to save money and buy fresh produce, baked goods, homemade recipes (think salsas or jams), and desserts. Youâll also likely be able to buy arts and crafts, flowers, or even treats for your pet! If you get lucky, you may be able to catch some delicious cuisine from a food truck hanging around as well.
The next time you are looking for something to do, check out your local farmerâs market, often in large parking lots or parks. Youâll find new friends and a sense of community as you experience the outdoors and support local vendors. Who knows what inspiration youâll discover!
