One of the questions job applicants ask me most is what it is like to work inside the corporate walls at Headquarters. Do you get to take advantage of all of the benefits the company advertises on its website and social media? What about ‘work hard, play hard’ – is that true? The short answer to both questions: Yes.

Work Hard

First, Reynolds strives to find the right job match for applicants and their skills. Once you are hired, the company has internal training courses to help you grow professionally and personally.

Second, Reynolds believes associates are excellent at recruiting others because of their first-hand knowledge of the company and its culture. If there is someone you believe would be a good fit for a position at Reynolds, refer that individual. If the person you refer gets hired, you are likely to get a referral bonus!

Lastly, as associates grow with the company, they may find they are interested in other positions and can work with their supervisor to explore the available options. Interested in a leadership role? Know that Reynolds takes pride in promoting from within the company.

Play Hard

At lunch time, the café at the Reynolds Headquarters offers a number of fresh and healthy options for associates to enjoy. From scrumptious burgers to the mouth-watering fish market, there are food stations that will satisfy even the pickiest taste buds. There also is a convenience store for those times where you just need a coffee, a cup of frozen yogurt, or a hot pretzel for an extra burst of energy.

Would you rather spend your lunch time working out? No problem. Check out our fitness center, which has everything from treadmills and medicine balls to weights and elliptical machines, plus classes of all types. Did I mention there is an outdoor basketball court and after-work sports leagues, too?

In addition, Reynolds sponsors many activities for associates after work to help them get to know other people from around the company and motivate them to be active. Ranging from card and table-top game leagues to volleyball, softball, soccer, and more, there is an activity to fit any interest or personality.

Along with all the amenities inside of Reynolds, there are many amenities provided outside of Reynolds. Associates are eligible to join Heartland Federal Credit Union, which includes on-site access to the credit union office at Headquarters as well as nationwide ATM access. Plus, you can receive discounts on cell phones, cars, computers, local and national entertainment, and more.

So what’s the 411 on Reynolds? Reynolds associates are expected to work hard, but afterward, associates are able to enjoy many company-sponsored events and recreational activities. Together, this builds associate morale and company spirit. Your co-workers become like family, and that’s about as good as it gets.

We are Reynolds!
