What We Do at Reynolds

At Reynolds, what we do for car dealers and manufacturers, we do better than anyone else… even if our efforts aren’t always visible.

We have nearly 150 years of business experience, with more than 85 of those years dedicated to serving the automotive industry.

Today, we deliver the business software, services, and forms to help car dealers sell and service more cars while also creating a more rewarding experience for their customers.

So, let’s shine some light on “what” we do to help make that happen:

If you’re in the market to buy a car, you might learn about a dealership because you received a piece of direct mail or an email that we helped the dealer create and send.

You might also research dealerships online. If the dealer is one of our customers, our digital marketing group may have helped the dealer in many ways, from placing digital ads to helping the dealer’s website show up first in your search. The dealer’s website might run on our technology, too.

Once you’ve decided which dealership to visit (we’ll assume you chose a Reynolds customer), the dealer might be using our technologies to:

  • Power the dealership’s phone system.
  • Set appointments to test drive your car of choice
  • Help you to pick out accessories and personalize your car before you buy it.
  • Complete the sale paperwork more quickly and accurately.

If you bring your vehicle in for service at the dealership, you may experience Reynolds technologies in that department. That includes everything from seeing your name on a video board welcoming you to the dealership to the service advisor recording your concerns using a tablet PC to receiving an email with a link to pay your bill electronically. (Yes, the paper invoice might be from Reynolds, too.)

At the same time, the dealer may be using our software and forms to handle other aspects of their business, such as their accounting and payroll. Reynolds offers software and forms to help dealers track and report on virtually any type of transaction they do.

That’s a small glimpse of “what” we offer dealers to help manage their stores.

But, “what” we do for dealerships is just part of “who” we are.

Reynolds associates devote a significant amount of their time, effort, and pride into supporting our dealership customers and creating the technologies that help make your experience as a car shopper more engaging and rewarding.

That’s also why Reynolds puts a lot of time and effort into hiring and developing our people. Our recruitment process helps us identify and hire the best possible candidates for open positions.

Once hired, we have a number of training and development programs to help employees grow professionally and personally. Those programs also help support our philosophy of promoting from within.
