Reynolds and Reynolds’ primary customers are new car dealerships. Reynolds supplies them with the software, business forms, and professional services they need to help you have a great experience while buying and servicing your car.

So how do dealerships work? A dealership is similar to a department store in there are many different sections that work together to serve customers. Let’s take a look at each of the most common dealership departments:

Sales:

This is the department you visit when you want to buy a car. The new and used vehicle sales departments usually have separate personnel, but they will work together if a customer brings in a trade.

F&I:

After you purchase your car from the sales department, the F&I (finance and insurance) office will offer you options on how to help protect your vehicle and work through the sale closing paperwork with you. Once this stage of the car-buying process is complete, you are ready to take home your vehicle.

Service:

The service department is where the dealership’s technicians perform maintenance or repair your car. Most of them have certifications to work specifically on the dealership's car brand, so they know what to look for and how to get the job done right.

Parts:

If you want different rims, new headlights, or any other replacement part for your car, this department is where you can buy them.

Business Office:

This department includes the accountants and other personnel who help make sure the business can open its doors every morning. They pay the bills as well as handle the cash flow and process paperwork for the dealership.

As you can imagine, dealerships need to manage a lot of information. Reynolds’ customers use our solutions to help do that and keep their dealerships running smoothly.

Reynolds has many job opportunities available, each focused on different parts of the dealership as well as parts of our business. If you are interested in a position at Reynolds, apply here and let us help you find your fit. No experience or car knowledge necessary.
